Call for IAC Self Nominations

The purpose of the IAC is to support the DLC and provide strategic input and guidance to promote the adoption of quality lighting and controls technology through education, collaborations, and expertise. The activities and agenda of the IAC include, but are not limited to: DLC business updates, programs to enhance lighting quality, utility program best practices for lighting efficiency, ongoing opportunities, challenges, and potential risks to the advancement of energy-saving lighting technologies.

As an advisory body to the DLC, the IAC does not cast votes. Its representatives are not fiduciaries of the DLC. Instead, the IAC offers perspectives and recommendations to support the DLC’s mission. IAC Committee participation is aimed at providing feedback and representing the interests of their respective industry roles or sizes, rather than individual companies.

The IAC meets once per quarter. Members are required to attend at least three of the four annual meetings and may select an alternative representative from their organization to participate in their absence. The upcoming term will begin in Q3 of 2025 and last for two years.

The DLC is currently seeking new members from the following organization types:

• Small lighting manufacturers – Having less than 250 employees and must have product(s) listed on the SSL or Horticultural QPL
• Lighting specifiers – Lighting designers, ESCOs, consulting engineers, integrators
• Lighting distributors
