Savings from Networked Lighting Controls (NLCs) ordinarily depend on actual usage patterns and whether they are properly programmed to function as intended. Therefore, historically, NLCs typically are only incentivized through custom programs with higher administrative costs rather than prescriptive delivery mechanisms, like downstream and midstream. The new NEMA/ANSI Standard C137.9 enables accurate project data collection in a standard format so that energy efficiency programs can claim savings with confidence that the systems are intentionally programmed, supported by the configuration report. Learn how this new standard will benefit programs with reliable, standardized NLC project data!
