Training

The aim of this train the trainer program is to integrate the CLS with the Northeast region’s programs. This is accomplished by adopting a regionwide target, 30% beyond ASHRAE/IES 90.1 2004, delivering a consistent message, offering tools and resources and continuous training to lighting design professionals.

Objectives

1. Adopt a consistent savings target, 30% beyond ASHRAE/IES 90.1 2004, throughout the region.
2. Educate lighting design professionals on energy efficiency.
3. Conduct training seminars to lighting design professionals servicing customers in their respective territories.
4. Make DOE’s CLS resources available and readily adopted by design professionals.
5. Have integrated lighting design, efficient equipment, daylighting, controls, and strategies become the norm in commercial buildings in the Northeast region.
